Architect Notes
Bridgeport's collective of freakout brewmasters needed a new home for their community brewing outfit, which had far outgrown the converted townhome they previously worked from. This brick-and-timber warehouse now hosts a 15bbl brewhouse and eclectic on-site tasting room. A large third floor vault - formerly home to an illegal marijuana-growing operation - will be re-purposed as a temperature-controlled room for barrel aging. Marty Sandberg served as lead designer, project architect, and in-house beer nerd for Studio NA as the project kicked-off in 2017. Via Chicago then stepped in to navigate the unpredictable web of last-minute hurdles, & helped push this “liquid dreams” center across the finish line. It’s been packed to the doors with a colorful mix of beer lovers and art fiends ever since. Cheers!
