West Town, Chicago
This incredibly odd building - with a footprint of just 165 square feet - is being reimagined as a chic living space for short-term rentals. The design takes advantage of an existing basement to create a split-level plan with a light-filled living space over a quiet, cozy bedroom. Divisions are minimized, style is emphasized, and every inch accounted for.
Construction is currently underway, and the tiny triangle should be ready to welcome its first guests in summer 2019. This charming, unique piece of Chicago’s architectural history will be one of the few true “tiny homes” in the Second City.
